Ertaetha
Ertaetha is an intradworld, a world that exists in a pocket dimension. Pocket dimensions are small, spherical universes with time frames that differ from infinity, or realtime, universes, and usually run faster than realtime. In addition, physical laws can be quirky or unusual. Ertaetha is a relatively small planet yet its gravity is virtually Earth normal and its day and year length are very similar as well.
Electricity cannot be generated in this dimension though it can be imported from realtime and used. Batteries work, though only for short periods of time. Realtimers call the planet a “power sucker.”
Ertaetha’s original climate, soil composition and landmasses were determined to be best suited to agriculture and the planet was classified as an agricore. Once a large window to realtime was established in orbit around the planet, technicians were sent in to sterilize the planet in preparation for new species introduction.
The planet had developed no mammals or intelligent life and only various insectoid, reptilian and marine species. These were nearly all genetically altered to either die out in one or two generations, or to mutate into species beneficial to the planet’s ultimate purpose as an extremely high-yield agricultural source. As the planet’s oceans were not designated for development, the marine life was only cursorily classified and left mostly unaltered.
Introduced wild species included many kinds of birds and reptiles plus insects that would act as their food source and also as pollinators. No animals or insects harmful to humans were introduced into the world. Ertaetha is designated as a Level 10 Benign planet, with Level 12 being the highest.
The only mammals brought to the world were those slated to be used in farming, such as bovinens (all kinds of dairy and beef cattle), boseds (fur and hide bearing animals), fat-hens (poultry), higs (meat producing animals), and shepps (sheep and llama type animals for wool production). The thorss (horse-like animal), cats and dogs were also brought along.
The landmass pictured on the map is the largest of three on the planet and the only one currently developed. The physical characteristics of the other two are unknown by the present inhabitants, although the original technicians mapped them when the planet was first discovered. They were slated to be developed later, but Ertaetha was cut off from realtime before this occurred.
When the accident happened and the window to realtime slammed shut, the disruption created a massive power surge that killed most of the people in the company centers (now the Lallourean citadels), and caused mutations in every other living thing on the planet including the humans. This is what caused the Lalloure themselves to come into existence. Various other introduced animals died out from the resultant genetic defects, including every kind of dog on the planet.
The orbiting station that had contained the realtime window exploded and its debris burned up in the atmosphere. No trace of it remains.

Jasclarion
The narrative of Ten Thousand Gods begins outside this western citadel located near the western ocean. As this is the first citadel Bredes enters as a resident, Jasclarion becomes Bredes’ creche citadel or the one it is identified with, i.e., Bredes of Jasclarion.
Heseth H’non is the head of the Jasclarion Collective. The citadel’s cash product is various kinds of glass including blown, molded, magnifying and optical glass.

Darclonen
The main action of Ten Thousand Gods takes place at this east central citadel situated on the Darclonen plains. Darclonen is Rasong’s creche citadel and Lhro H’non is the head of the Darclonen Collective.
The citadel’s cash product is silk, wool and wolsilk cloth which is both dyed and woven at the citadel. Along with plain, common and twill weaves, Darclonen produces magnificent jacquards and brocades which incorporate gold and silver threads. The citadel was founded by Chizra D’Arclon.

Bir Halake
The main action of Gods of Crystal, Gods of Dreams takes place at this north central citadel located in the Kerrakkin Mountains. M’pelanae H’non is the head of the Bir Halake Collective, and is the youngest H’non since L’loren, the First Lalloure.
Bir Halake is the only Lallourean citadel with two domes. The smaller southern one covers the opening to the mining caverns. It is also the only citadel that utilizes the original company center circuits as underground passages.

Rhil Hetre
The beginning of Gods of Changeling Love takes place at this eastern citadel located on Lake Drey F’taine. Jynairdileon H’non is head of the Rhil Hetre Collective, but passes this Collective to Ishynn H’non near the beginning of the story.
The citadel’s cash product is paper including printing stock, stationery, tissue and insulation, all produced from various kinds of pithrie plants.

FIALONSHIR
The first citadel established by the First Lalloure L’loren. The original company center functioned as a recreation and relaxation area, and parts of the citadel still do, specifically the Gardens of Crispation. Fialonshir is also a repository of the First Lalloure’s writings, artifacts and its ashes in a special building called the Enshrinement.
Pirishyn H’non leads the collective. Fialonshir’s products are honey, wax and the exportation of flowers to human perfumeries.

Citadel H’lomae Layout
Lallourean citadels were originally Company Centers on Ertaetha. The citadel itself comprises the walled, usually circular grounds and a varying number of adjoining acres of land outside. H’lomae is the building at the center of the walled part of the citadel.
When the Lalloure began claiming the wrecked and unused Company Centers during the late first century after the accident, they stripped away all the useless technological machinery, furnishings and accoutrements, and sequestered them in the circuits (underground passages). These were then closed off and forgotten.
The four-story perimeter building of the circular complex, once hotel rooms and living quarters, became the Lallourean dormitories. The inner building, originally used for offices, cafeterias and entertainment areas, was utilized in a similar manner, plus the Lalloure added libraries, auditoriums, pleasuring lounges and small workshops. As this building is enclosed on both sides, it receives its natural illumination from skylights.
The central dome originally held the machinery and platform where food and animal products were shot to the orbiting window station via transport beams. Once all the apparatus was removed, the Lalloure repurposed the area to build garden parks. The dome itself was constructed of curved sections of polyplaztin and stetsteel, materials developed to be impervious to Ertaetha’s climate. The transport eye at the top of the dome was rigged to dilate and close mechanically, which makes the dome into a large, if inefficient, greenhouse. A specialized geothermal system heats most of H’lomae, though not the dome area which is left to its changing seasons.

The Church of the Child
From Gods of Crystal, Gods of Dreams
The majority of members of the various Churches of the Child are made up of close relatives of Lalloure, such as parents or siblings. They worship the Lalloure as angelic intermediaries between them and their god, which they call the One.
The Bir Halake Parish was constructed in a naturally occurring cave which lay between the citadel of Bir Halake and the small town of Netpinny in the Kerrakkin Mountains. M’pelanae H’non visits this church regularly through a secret door it constructed within Bir Halake’s mining caverns. Much of the narrative of the second book takes place in this church.

starling
From Gods of Changeling Love.
Rhine Estar’s home in Shininear, his personal estate in the country of Dreshlin Vains. Starling was built on a hillside with its six wings at staggered heights so each one has an unobstructed view of gardens, waterfalls and the jungles of Dreshlin Vains.
Each wing is several stories high. The rounded bumps represent spires which include lounges, recreation and dining areas. The very center of Starling is a multi-storied spire with the fanciest dining room at the top.
